I, now fifty-six years old in pretty good health

Hoping … -Myself
It’s a really nice blog Paul! I had no idea that you have been fighting cancer. I’m speechless. You’re amazing!
Also, I have to tell you that I have a hard time imagining you as a police officer. I see you as a teacher or writer but not someone who carries a gun to work. Someone asked me once, “How can you work in finance and be a Quaker.” I replied, “It’s easy I just try to be honest and do the best I can.” I wonder what your answer would be.
Anyways, I enjoyed reading your blog and I’ll be sure to check-in from time-to-time.. Take care and thank you for sharing so much about you.
PS I think I would like the teacher better than your neighbor at Starbucks….

In love's circle there's another kind of serenity;
in love's wine, another kind of hangover.
What you learned in school is one thing -
love is something entirely different.
