This is a personal blog, but it isn’t about me, and it isn’t about my life. It’s about one thing, the only thing that matters, the only reason we even exist, if we need a reason to exist; it’s about the last thing we think about, the thing we feel silly mentioning, the last reason we consider or mention if we need a reason to do something.
This blog is about love. It’s about love’s corollaries, compassion and community.
OK, I feel silly mentioning it. Maybe you feel silly reading about it. So I’m going to try to lighten up; I’ll tell some stories, gossip about things I overhear at Starbucks, chat about the news. I’m going to have fun writing and make it fun to read. Live a little, love a lot. I’m gonna put my heart into it. (Because love is the only thing that matters.)
